common lizard in West Yorkshire

Never thought I’d photograph common lizard in West Yorkshire, especially so close to home, but today at Brockadale I did just that! I came across a small pile of rocks and found a colony of lizards basking there. In all I had three adults and a whole raft of baby lizards. I didn’t have long but got a few shots and now that I now where they are I will be back to get some really nice images. There’s one rock in particular that I think will be very photogenic.
